Blizzard has announced that it will soon be possible to get your hands on a beta key for Overwatch 2, but with some conditions.
The great phase of Overwatch 2 beta has been launched since April 27, 2022 and will continue until May 17.. If Blizzard had offered the possibility of recovering access for its launch via Twitch drops, many got nothing. Never mind! The firm has announced that new batches of keys will be given awayprovided you watch the Overwatch League esports championship.
How to get an Overwatch 2 beta key?
It is from May 5 to 8 that it will be possible to recover the precious sesame, by simply watching the Overwatch League on Youtube. For the event, Blizzard has indeed planned to release several gifts including cosmetics for Overwatch and the famous beta keys for Overwatch 2.
You will simply need link your Youtube account to your Battle.net and then go to the official Overwatch Youtube channel and watch at least 1 hour of competition. You will find the schedules for each match below.
- May 5 from 9 p.m.: Los Angeles Gladiators vs. New York Excelsior
- May 6 from 10:30 p.m.: Vancouver Titans vs. Boston Uprising
- May 7 from 9 p.m.: Washington Justice vs. Toronto Defiant
- May 8 from 10:30 p.m.: Florida Mayhem vs. Paris Eternal
In total, no less than 1500 keys will be distributed every hour during the four days of the championship. Suffice to say that you will have plenty of time to catch yours.
