Often subject to breaks related to the health of its author, Hunter X Hunter should soon resume, at least for a few chapters.
Started in 1998, Hunter X Hunter got two anime adaptations. When one of them saw the light of day in 1999, the other, more recent, was broadcast for the first time in 2011. A successful animated series that will probably never have a sequel given the various concerns that affect the original source. But hey, maybe that will change one day. In any case, according to new information, the author Yoshihiro Togashi could well resume his activity.
A return of Hunter X Hunter?
Born more than 20 years ago, 4 years after the end of another series whose fame is not to be denied (Yu Yu Hakusho), Hunter X Hunter has seen his writing disrupted on several occasions due to his mangaka’s health problems. Moreover, the series has not seen any new entries since 2018. But, now, it could stack up for at least 4 additional chapters on a date not yet mentioned.
The announcement would have been made by the author himself via an account Twitter newly opened. For the moment, it is difficult to verify the veracity of the thing, nevertheless Yusuke Muratathe author of One-Punch Manseems to confirm the info.
To see if Hunter X Hunter will really be entitled to new chapters, which, according to another info relayed by @Nibellionto very well be counted at a figure greater than four, enough to constitute a complete volume.
Just to clarify: it seems like Togashi is finishing up an entire new volume for HXH, so expect at least ~10 chapters
It’s not clear *when* HXH will exactly return and what will happen beyond the expected number of upcoming chapters
