Originally intended as a prequel to Black Desert Online, Crimson Desert is Pearl Abyss’ upcoming open-world action-adventure game set in a heroic fantasy universe.
Originally revealed in 2019 at G-Star from Busan in South Korea and presented as an MMO, Crimson desert has since changed focus to become a single player action-adventure game.
In a war for survival, three tribes will have to fight for the conquest of the continent Pywell. He is the former director of game design for RYL Online, Jason jung, which is at the origin of this project.
The release was originally scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2020 before being postponed until next winter on PC and consoles. In the meantime, it’s a new gameplay video that has just been uploaded.
This sequence contains 2 minutes of gameplay showing us the movement of the main protagonist in different environments. Physics seem to be there and the meteorological effects are not to be outdone.
