eFootball 2023 will be a patch for eFootball 2022 and will be launched in the coming days, Konami announced.
eFootball 2023, the sequel to Konami’s (ex-PES) new soccer license, will be released on August 25, 2022. And as the game turned into a free-to-play service game last season, it will be via a simple patch for eFootball 2022 that players will discover this new opus. The launch will be via a new Season 1, Konami once again leaves us wanting more.
As announced a few days ago, this new version of the soccer game competing with FIFA 23 will offer a few updates that we had hoped would appear last year. Some additional licenses, new contracts with teams, and the presence of the Mexican league, certainly, but no progress on the game modes, drastically reduced since the change of PES and eFootball (RIP Become a Legend).
From premium packs will also be available to pick up some extra bonuses, while two new global ambassadors (Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bruno Fernandes) will grace the communication alongside Messi, Neymar and Takefusa Kubo. Note that if you are among the first to install the patch, you will receive a signing bonus for your team. What about the edition mode, the Master League, BAL or the hundreds of teams that the game had in the good old days?
