The new game in the LEGO universe will offer a slew of modes that will add even more humor to your games. There are improbable weapons or a mode that transforms the sound effects.

Inside a behind-the-scenes video released by Warner Bros about its upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagawe discover a “pew pew mode” which can be activated in the menus, probably in the same location as we can find the traditional disguise or microfig modes in the other opuses of the TT Games games.

What is this mode for? It turns gun noise into a “badly dubbed” version that goes zwooon, swich, and pew pew when you pull out your lightsaber or fire your blaster. You can hear what it sounds like on video starting at 4:13 just below. Unsurprisingly, this new opus will obviously retain the constant humor of the LEGO adaptations saga.

The game will also feature another “nostalgic” voice mode, the “Mumble mode” where all the original dialogue from the Star Wars saga is replaced by gibberish already heard in most LEGO games that didn’t have an actor’s agreement to incorporate the voices (or, in the case of titles like LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, a complete re-recording of the dialogue).

The game seems to have planned a large number of completely barred modes, you can also see them quickly in the video. Among them, Hologram Mode, Retro Mode, baguette sabers or a Comedy Weapons mode. We let you imagine the possibilities…

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on April 5 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch and PC.
