Little Orpheus is postponed due to current events in Ukraine

The game of The Chinese Room (Dear Esther), in which the player embodies a Soviet cosmonaut, has been postponed to an indefinite date.

Little Orpheus was supposed to release this 1st of March on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and PC. However, given the current situation, this war in Ukraine initiated by the Russian government, the English developer The Chinese Room (Dear Esther) and the publisher Secret Mode have decided to postpone its release indefinitely.

Due to recent world events, the launch of Little Orpheus on PC and console will be delayed.

Although Little Orpheus was originally released on Apple Arcade in June 2020 and while it does not directly reference recent world events, we recognize that some game themes and content may be upsetting for players at this time..

The title, available from 2020 on the Apple Arcade, proposes to embody a Soviet cosmonaut who resurfaces after 3 years of disappearance.
