While Hanger 13 is changing direction, the studio’s next big project is leaking some information.

As Haden Blackman left the director’s seat of Hangar 13 to be replaced by Nick Bayes, all eyes are now on the studio’s future game: Mafia 4.

Mafia 4 at Salieri

At the beginning of May, we already reported to you that Hangar 13 was preparing a new opus of Mafia, and that the latter could be a prequel to all the other works.

Information breaking down today through XboxEra’s Nick Baker, who in his latest podcast hinted that this Mafia 4 would take place in Sicilyin the early 1900s, and would revolve around Don Salierian important character from the first opus (and the remake).

Also according to Baker’s sources, Hangar 13 would opt for a return to the sources close to the first two episodes and would therefore aim for a more scripted and linear game than was Mafia 3. A news which, if proven, will certainly please fans of the license who had shunned the last part.

Obviously, we will take all his information with tweezers while waiting for a potential formalization on the side of Hangar 13.
