To celebrate the anniversary of the release of the first Metal Gear, on July 13, 1987, Konami announces the return of several games in stores.
On the occasion of 35 years of the Metal Gear franchiseKonami has decided to offer access to old games for fans of the series. In a tweet that wants to mark the July 13, 1987, the publisher announces “preparations underway to resume sales of titles whose sale has been temporarily suspended”.
It would appear, then, that Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, removed from online stores in 2021, will again be available on the PS Store, the eShop or GOG. An announcement that could also allow Konami to offer the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection in all stores. Of course, we have a little hope to see also all the oldest episodes of the series in an original or enhanced version on the different stores…
No date for the moment concerning this return of the sales.
