Have you ever dreamed of having NFTs of Playmate dressed in very short pieces of pixels or of participating in sexy events in the metaverse? Well, it’s soon possible on The Sandbox.
For those who don’t know, The Sandbox is a metaverse game where you can do almost anything. Incidentally, thehe game runs with blockchain technologies and the famous non-fungible tokens: the NFT.
Playboy is into the metaverse of The Sandbox
And it is in this universe that Playboy has just signed a partnership to offer social events and NFT content in its brand colorsjust as it has done before. With MetaMansion, you’ll be able to take it easy in The Sandbox and even enjoy a whole bunch of sexy vents, but also get your hands on “an exclusive collection of NFT collectibles based on the extensive Playboy content library”.
We’re thrilled to be working with The Sandbox and its great design and development team to bring a high-end, personalized Playboy social experience to the metaverse. We look forward to inviting our Playboy fans, especially our Rabbitars community and LAND owners on The Sandbox, into this new immersive world dedicated to Playboy.
However, in order to fully enjoy the future content, there will be a few conditions, as it will be mandatory to be a LAND ownera land in the metavers, and/or a Rabbitarsa virtual avatar (and NFT) that Playboy launched in October 2021. The Sandbox further states that new LANDs will be released by the third quarter of 2022.
No matter what anyone says, metavers and NFTs are of interest to more and more companies who see it as a great opportunity for both entertainment and finance, despite the instability of this technology and the environmental costs. Only time will tell if this was a good choice for companies, for us, and for our medium (and art) that is the video game.
