With less than a week to go before the game’s release, initially slated for December 10, Microids is postponing the launch of Syberia: The World Before, the final episode in Kate Walker’s adventures, to Q1 2022.
This surprise report is explained by the studio in a press release. This decision is motivated by the will of provide an optimal, immersive gaming experience that is faithful to what its late creator, Benoit Sokal, would have wanted for the adventures of his heroine.
The team will therefore have a few more months, until the first quarter of 2022, to refine the game and make it live up to their ambitions.
