Smilegate’s new MMORPG has gathered 4.7 million players after three days of launch in the West, and now exceeds 20 million adventurers on PC.

It’s not really a surprise, as the new MMORPG from Smilegate and Amazon has been a runaway success after its launch. The studios announce, with great pride, that Lost Ark has just exceeded 20 million players worldwide, including 10 million for the new areas that can now play it: the Americas, Oceania and Europe.

The Western launch, while slightly hampered by server issues (it wouldn’t be an Amazon game otherwise), saw a huge spike in interest. The game has even directly touched the greatest, by entering second place among Steam games in terms of simultaneous connections, between the unbeatable PUBG and the illustrious CS:GO. In its first 3 days, Lost Ark had gathered nearly 4.7 million new adventurers.

For Christoph Hartmannvice president of Amazon Games, the success is more than deserved and the studio will reward loyal players.

The excitement of Lost Ark around the world is rapidly growing, as evidenced by the growing number of international players. Together with Smilegate, we are committed to supporting the growing community with a solid roadmap of updates for years to come.

Indeed, the month of March will already offer new content to the community. Thanks WHO?
