Monochrome Mobius JRPG features gameplay

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Utawarerumono saga will very soon offer a new title anchored in its universe. While waiting for its release, it presents itself in video.

Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten is a little different from the series from which it comes (Utawarerumono), because contrary to it which proposed a mixture of visual novel and tactical RPGThe game will be presented here as a JRPG.

A little gameplay

Aquaplus’ new title will send players to the village of Ennakamuy alongside a young man named Oshtor. Investigating a certain case, he will meet a mysterious girl who will teach him a surprising news: his father whom he believed dead is actually alive. In search of truth, he will take the road with the one he met.

A video just released allows us to have a glimpse of the world that the hero and his companions will encounter. We can thus direct our attention on what it tends to propose, tels that exploration and combat (turn-based) in particular.

This Monochrome Mobius will be available on September 8, 2022. However, if Japan will be able to benefit from PlayStation copies, it will not be the case for the rest of the world, which will have to make do with its arrival on Steam. But, who knows, maybe it’s only a matter of time before it comes to Western consoles.
