Mothergunship: Forge, a VR sequel for the wave shooter

A Quest 2 and PCVR version of the Terrible Posture Games game will soon allow you to face hordes of alien robots in virtual reality.

Released in 2018 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, the FPS bullet hell Mothergunship from Terrible Posture Games (Tower of Guns) will result in a VR spin-off referred to as Mothergunship: Forge the June 16, 2022 on Quest 2 and SteamVR for PC VR headsets.

As a reminder, in the original opus, in order to face an armada of alien robots having conquered the Earth, you had to build a monstrous crazy arsenal able to face gigantic bosses in order to reach the heart of the enemy armada and atomize the Mothergunship.

This new version in virtual reality takes up this principle. You must thus attach connectors to your wrists so that you can then attach weapon parts and upgrades to it.

Presenting itself as a roguelite, the title offers you to chain the deaths to, each time, come back stronger by accumulating various upgrades and weaponswhile improving your permanent statistics before trying your luck again.

Yes dodge attacks on a small platform can be physical, however the game provides soft locomotion and dash options for the most sensitive.
