Warner’s “Super Smash Bros killer” will be entitled to a very large number of new characters from cult licenses.

While the app is in full alpha session, Multiversus is already leaking the rest of its roster with a crazy amount of new heroes.

More than 20 new characters in Multiversus?

The information comes to us from the same Reddit user who had revealed the existence of the game before the hour. He claims to have discovered a list of new fighters after having datamined the game files. The man would therefore have got his hands on more thanaround twenty characters from major licenses as Game of Thrones, Batman, Mortal Kombat, Godzilla or Rick & Morty. Some heroes would even be more advanced than others and audio tracks would have been recorded.

List of New Multiverse Characters

Well advanced

  • Joker-DC
  • The Crow – DC
  • Gizmo – Gremlins
  • Marvin the Martian – Looney Tunes
  • Lebron James – NBA (Space James Movie 2)
  • Rick – Rick and Morty
  • Morty – Rick and Morty
  • Scooby-Doo – Scooby-Doo
  • Daenerys – Game of Thrones
  • The Bloodhound – Game of Thrones
  • Wicked Witch – The Wizard of Oz
  • Godzilla – Godzilla

In the early stages of development

  • Johnny Bravo – Johnny Bravo
  • Fred Flinstone – Flintstones
  • Samurai Jack – Samurai Jack
  • The Powerpuff Girls – Powerpuff Girls (all would count as one fighter)
  • Les Animaniacs – The Animaniacs (all would count as one fighter)
  • Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers – Looney Tunes
  • Scorpion – Mortal Kombat
  • Ben 10 – Ben 10
  • Ted Lasso – Ted Lasso (Apple TV series)

If the list turns out to be true, Multiversus could have an XXL roster upon release. The app is also expected later this year on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One and will be free to play. An open beta will also be put online from next July.
