Warner’s brawler is a hit, but has been forced to postpone its first season and the arrival of the next Rick & Morty fighter.
Multiversus is on a roll. Since its release, the game has been a great success and is even at the top of the charts on Steam and Twitch. Currently in pre-season, the fighting game was supposed to launch its very first season on August 9, but the hazards have made it finally postponed.
Multiversus season 1 will wait
This is what Warner announced on Twitter, without explaining why, the team in charge of development says it is doing everything possible to satisfy the players, but is forced to postpone the season 1 to a later date. The same is true for the next fighter, Morty (Rick & Morty), who will finally arrive a little later.
We would like to inform everyone that we are postponing the start of Season 1 and the release of Morty until a later date. We know this may be disappointing to some and we want to assure our community that we are committed to providing new and exciting content that will delight players.
However, to keep people waiting, the studio has announced that it is extending the current combat pass until August 15. Perhaps by then we will have new information about this first season, which is eagerly awaited by fans.
Due to the delay of Season 1, we are extending the pre-season battle pass until August 15. The end date in the game will not change, but the battle pass will continue after August 8 until August 15.
We want to let everyone know that we are delaying the start of Season 1 & the release of Morty to a later date. We know this might be disappointing for some and want to assure our Community that we are dedicated to delivering new and exciting content that delights players. (2/3)
