The studio behind the Chinese MMO accused of stealing ARK’s source code is determined to return to Steam. A lawsuit has been filed in California court.
Accused of potentially stealing the source code of another studio, Chinese MMO Myth of Empires has been removed from sale by Steam a few weeks ago, following a DMCA complaint. If the title is currently still unavailable, those responsible are currently in full proceedings to try to break this suspension.
A complaint was therefore filed in the California court by the publisher of Myth of Empires, who wants justice to decide on the case, and to wash away any suspicion towards the developers of ARK. Damages following this loss of profits for a few weeks will no doubt also be requested in the event that justice proves them to be right.
In a recent post, Angela Game asked her fans not to verbally attack the plaintiffs and let justice do its job. The course of action has not changed for the moment, the studio continues to deny the accusations. In the meantime, those who still have access to the game are doomed to suffer one maintenance per day at the moment…
