It was already foreseen, but now we have the confirmation: Nacon will indeed tackle the series of films that we owe to James Cameron.
A few months ago, Nacon’s Italian studio based in Milan opened its doors and announced one of its projects. At that time, we only knew that it was a title based on a famous movie license. However, a small hint about what it was about came from Gematsu. After taking care to detail the first artworks provided by the studio, the site sincerely thought to see a title in the Terminator universe. And, it was not wrong.
After Robocop, Terminator
While a Robocop game is in its hands, Nacon is indeed attacking the universe set up by James Cameron.
It will be a survival game (whose official title is still unknown) which will (logically) take place in an apocalyptic universe, the title will propose to play as several different characters through an original story. It will not follow the letter of what was introduced in the movies, but rather bring additional content to narrate what was only touched upon in the movie series.
For now, not much is known, including the platforms, although it is very likely that we are dealing with a game for the PC and new gen consoles. We’ll just have to make do with the teaser here:
