In total, four titles from the Nacon catalog will be postponed between spring 2022 and early 2023, including the highly anticipated Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong postponed to May 2022.
It’s a bit of a constant over the past few months: so as not to have to rush to stay on schedule, editors prefer to postpone until next year, when we will see a little more clearly (or not). Nacon is no exception to the rule and has just announced the postponement of no less than 4 games from its large catalog to come.
The French publisher indicated this in its last financial report, but we were not fooled: we haven’t received any news from these games in moons. Thus, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, which did not appear to be maintained in early 2022, is shifted to May 19, 2022.
Three other games are postponed to fiscal year 2022/2023, therefore between April 2022 and March 2023: Blood Bowl III, originally scheduled for February 2022, Train Life: A Railway Simulator, and its hotel counterpart, Hotel Life: A Resort simulator.
As always, the studio evokes the health crisis, the delays, and the desire to offer players the best possible experience. Nacon has plunged 10% on the stock market this Tuesday following the announcement of its results down for the year (from 15.7% to 73 million euros). The good news is that in 2022/2023, more than 15 outings are now planned, also including Gollum or the new TDU.
