This was inevitable: things are going from bad to worse for Babylon’s Fall which is losing more players and is now reaching a sad milestone.
As time passes, the situation becomes more and more critical for the latest title developed by PlatinumGames. It is even the most bitter failure of its publisher Square Enix, well beyond Marvel’s Avengers and Outriders. The latter have indeed reached, on the Last 30 days, respective averages of 276 and 862 players. Babylon’s Fall has only brought together 64.
The community is broken, a player plunged into loneliness
And, in the week that has just ended (that of May 2 therefore), Babylon’s Fall recorded a very sad score on Steam. He could not go above the 78 simultaneous players. Worse, although it was for a very short time, the game even dropped, this Wednesday, May 4the previous record of ten players to end up with only one participant.
A worrying situation that questions: what about the future of the game? Well, as she claimed on Twitter, the development team has no intention of stopping there and will continue to provide more content to its title. She is about to finalize season 2 and will soon start working on the third before tackling others. In short, Babylon’s Fall should still continue to exist, at least for a little while.
