The service game from Square Enix and People Can Fly is not dead and will even receive its first big extension “Worldslayer”.
Even if it’s not a resounding success, we have to believe that Outriders has found its way and its audience (and that Square Enix ended up paying People Can Fly) since the software welcomes its first big DLC ”Worldslayer” on PS5 , Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Worldslayer announces a busy schedule
The extension is scheduled for June 30, for 40€and will bring a lot of things, including content and new ways to approach the endgame.
First of all, it’s a whole new campaign which will be offered to players. A frame that focuses more on the science fiction side of soft and offers new areas, new enemies and brand new pieces of equipment.
Outriders also does not forget the players who sanded the soft and flesh out his endgame. It will also be possible for newcomers to boost their character directly to level 30 in order to take advantage of the extension without worrying about the leveling up of the original game.
On the endgame side, therefore, Outriders is introducing a new unlockable skill tree named PAX. Detached from the title’s core skill system, the PAX system will only unlock as you progress through Worldslayer, requiring you to expand from the ground up.
As a bonus, once the max level is reached, you will unlock Ascension, a new evolution mechanic character similar to Brutasse levels from Borderlands or Paragon from Diablo 3.
All your acquired experience will then be distributed in this new system allowing you to climb no less than 200 additional levels increasing your stats along the way. Moreover, to amass a maximum of XP, a new endgame activity will accompany the Expeditions already put in place.
At last, new “world difficulties” will be in the game. The “Challenge Tiers” that acted as endgame will give way to the “Apocalypse Tiers” (up to 40), much more full-bodied. They will, as usual, increase the difficulty, increase your XP gains and offer better loot.
Besides, the “Apocalypse Tiers” will increase the gear cap up to 75 and are full of exclusive and boosted equipment to loot. Obviously this is only a preview of what the extension has in store for us, but we will have to wait longer to learn more about it.
