Already 8 years that P.T has shown its nose, with a demo that still marks the spirits today. Designed to tease the project of a Silent Hill pampered by the passionate hands of Hideo Kojima, before knowing an unfortunate fate. But it’s back in the news today, with bitterness.
It’s been 8 years now that we’ve been walking through the corridors of this mansion, in a loop, trying to solve enigmas scattered in a subtle waywhile trying not to be caught by a jump-scares loving mind.
P.T was a project initiated by Hideo Kojima to make our mouths water and wait for the release of Silent Hil, and all this with the collaboration of the famous director Guillermo del Toro. A promise that will never come and that will mark the end of the collaboration between Hideo Kojima and Konami. The developer preferred to leave this raft to create his own studio, Kojima Productions.
A divorce that put the video game world in turmoil since it marked the premature end of the Silent Hill project. A disappointment that still resonates today, and for Guillermo del Toro, the responsible is found, and it is Konami.
The proof is the answer to this tweet from Hideo Kojima who wishes a happy birthday to P.T who celebrates his 8th birthday. To which the director replied with a very sober “F.K.”in other words “F… Konami”thus revealing a certain animosity even today.
