After long months filled with rumours, Sony has finally lifted the veil on its Project Spartacus. The service supposed to gain ground at Xbox Game Pass is ultimately not quite one and ultimately offers quite different things.

This tier has no changes for players currently subscribed to PlayStation Plus.

PLAYSTATION PLUS EXTRA

Price: €13.99 per month / €39.99 per quarter / €99.99 per year

Benefits:

  • Provides all the benefits of the Essential tier
  • Also features a catalog of around 400 of the best PS4 and PS5 games, including hits from our PlayStation Studios catalog and third-party partners like Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11 and Returnal for example. Extra tier games can be downloaded for offline access.

PLAYSTATION PLUS PREMIUM

Price: €16.99 per month / €49.99 per quarter / €119.99 per year

Benefits:

  • Provides all the benefits of the Essential and Extra Tiers
  • Limited-time trial versions of certain games will also be offered at this tier, allowing players to test them out before buying them.
  • Offers approximately 340 additional games, including PS3 games available via cloud streaming and a catalog of classics, available to stream or download among PS1, PS2 and PSP games.
