Sony is actively looking for a new leader to further expand its catalog of exclusive PlayStation games on PC.
For a few years now, Sony has been trying to make a place for itself on the PC by bringing its exclusives there. A visibly beneficial strategy for the firm, which is now seeking to boost business.
Even more PlayStation exclusives on PC
Based on a job posting shared by VGC, Sony is currently in the midst of a recruiting session looking for a Senior Director to lead its operations in the PC sector.. The future leader will aim toincrease “the growth” of the PlayStation brand on PCas well as’establish “an effective business strategy” working with industry leaders like the Epic Games Store and Steam.
A news which is not surprising considering that recent ports have been doing quite well and gave a second youth to some PlayStation excluded like Day Gones, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn or Death Stranding. Sony will therefore indeed expand its PC catalog and, obviously, also intends to make the process faster.
Moreover, the next PlayStation exclusives to land on PC are none other than Uncharted 4 and its stand alone The Lost Legacy. The compilation of the two titles is planned for June 20.
