Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet have been further revealed in a new trailer featuring two new items and a never-before-seen pokémon.

The next generation of Pokémon arrives this year with Pokémon Violet and Scarlet both scheduled for release on November 18. This new batch will mark a real turning point in the license since the 9G will sign the arrival of the open world totally free. A first for the series that it will be possible to share in cooperation with up to 4 players.

A trailer full of new features

Pokémon Violet and Scarlet will also feature exclusive pokémon and new gameplay mechanics such as Teracrystallization, which transforms our little monsters by changing their statistics. Moreover, the new trailer released today shows us thatin addition to improving the statistics, this technique will be able to change the type of the pokémon and turn the tide in battle. The trailer takes the example of a Tyranocif that acquires the Spectre type after Teracrystallization, making it immune to the Fighting type, which is normally very effective against it.

The trailer also introduces us to a new item that looks rather useful as the Copying Leaf which is able to copy an opponent’s stat bonus when consumed. We also get a first glimpse of Motorizard, a totally new Normal/Dragon pokémon and which seems to have a close link with the two new legendary of this generation. Motorizard will also have the ability to use a new ability, Queuelonage, which creates a small clone before swapping the place of the active pokémon with another on the bench. Perfect for a lightning switch that will also offer an opportunity to dodge some damage. You can also use Dice Piped to increase our chance to hit several times. We leave you the trailer below to illustrate all this.
