When will PSVR 2 be released? According to indiscretions, Sony would now consider the beginning of 2023 to avoid frustrating PlayStation players…
In a new video, the PSVR without Parole youtube account announced a release date for Sony’s new VR headset for the first quarter 2023. Previously, this user had already correctly leaked the hardware details of PSVR 2 and his game Horizon Call of the Mountain.
Even if all this does not give certainty to the info, which would come from a private source, we therefore learn in the video that the release date would be moved to next year simply to ensure a restocking of PS5s in stores and therefore enough machines on the market to be able to take advantage of them.
As the video explains, however, the delay is not huge for the brand, which had rather relied on the end of the year 2022 and Christmas holidays. However, it might come as a surprise to see Sony launching “game changer” hardware at an unusual time for sales.
As a reminder, Sony recently revealed the official design of its headphones and an official site to find out more. For now, we’ll have to settle for this…
