New indiscretions come to tell more about the specifics of the PS5’s virtual reality headset, the PSVR 2. And it looks like it’s designed to last.

Aside from a recent photo of a PSVR 2 sitting in a development studio chair, we don’t have much to go on. But until we know more about its price and launch date, a Youtube channel with the name of PSVR2 Without Parole gave up some little indiscretions about the presumably removable connectivity of the virtual reality headset from PlayStation.

The power cable of the latter would use a USB-C type port on both sides. A relevant choice that would make it replaceable in case of malfunction. What to avoid a bad surprise of one of your pets who would have taken the cable for his taste. But this system would also avoid to tear off all your installation unintentionally if you go out of the perimeter too much in the middle of the action, or even more simply to level to the problems of wears.

To see if Sony adopted this strategy for other elements of the helmet for thus avoiding a clogging of its SAV. We will have to wait for a statement from the Japanese firm to judge.

What do you think of this choice of PlayStation towards its PSVR2? Tell us in the comments.
