Released in 2019, the Resident Evil 2 remake continues to entice and is now reaching a new level in terms of sales.
Now in the spotlight with the latest Netflix series released this July 14, the Resident Evil saga has just celebrated a small event: sales of the popular remake of the second installment of the franchise, whose original episode debuted in 1998 on PlayStation first of the name.
Resident Evil 2 reaches 10 million
Released in 2019this new version of the cult game of Capcom has now reached the 10 million salesfollowing the one that preceded it a few months ago: Resident Evil VII. Already, on March 31, as a press release said, the title was really not far from the milestone now crossed. It was indeed at 9.6 million distributions.
By the way, it’s not a surprise: the press and gamers agree perfectly on the quality of this revisit, which reached the new gen consoles at the end of June. Then, the third opus that followed cooled down a bit the public. But, let’s bet that with the next Resident Evil 4 expected for March 2023, Capcom will succeed in putting everyone in agreement.
