Previously announced, the new gen Resident Evil patches released on Xbox One, PS4 and PC took advantage of the Capcom showcase to show off.

Already mentioned at the beginning of the year, the new gen patches for Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 were still awaiting a publication date. But, with the very recent Capcom show, it is now done.

Free new-gen updates

As previously announced, the upgrade granted by Capcom thus adorns each of the three Resident Evil titles with the advantages specific to using the resources of new gen consoles. Ray tracing, addition of 3D audio, reduced loading time… are then part of the improvements to be observed.

The updates have therefore been published, in the wake of the event broadcast this June 14, on the PS5 and Xbox Series above all but also on PC, which has not been neglected and is also assigned these novelties.
