Surprise, the LucasArts saga initiated in the 90s announced its return. The new title will land this year 2022.
Started in the years 90the saga of point and click produced by LucasArts was entitled to 2009 to a last episode, distributed in several chapters by Telltale Games. Which goes back a bit. But, now a new opus is announced for this year 2022. This will be the next Return to Monkey Island published by Devolver Digital in partnership with Lucasfilm Games.
In the cast of this comeback, we find well-known names, having notably worked on the creation of the series. Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman will be writing and directing. And, Michael Land, Peter McConnell and Clint Bajakian come back to composition. All these actors will therefore bring the cult universe back to life, picking up where it left off. Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge.
The date of his arrival has not yet been mentioned. The same is true for the platforms that will host it.
