After the second and third opus of the Square Enix trilogy, the first will finally have the right to a remaster, via Minstrel Song.
Square Enix continues to remaster its great epic Romancing SaGa. After having ported Romancing SaGa 2 to the latest generation of consoles and PCs in 2017 and then Romancing SaGa 3 to the same media and laptops two years later, it’s Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song which will arrive this winter 2022 on PS4, PS5, Switch, PC, iOS and Android.
A remaster which may be easier to manufacture than the others since the original version is less old. While the other two episodes came from SNES, this one was released on PS2 in 2005… as a remake of the very first game from 1992. We now understand better why Square Enix had started with the second.
In addition to a graphical update, this Remastered version will offer a whole bunch of new gameplay features and new features related to recent consoles. The announcement is associated with a video, which we share with you right here, which is still much simpler and very pleasant on our part, right?
