The world’s first trailer for the new Sonic movie will air tonight during the Game Awards. A first promotional poster was distributed.
Filming Sonic 2 has been finished since this summer, it is now up to the promotion and especially the post-production of this sequel to the adventures of the blue hedgehog in the cinema. After a first opus which had revived fears (adaptation of video games to the cinema, first completely messed up design of Sonic, etc.) but who did pretty well on the critical side, Paramount and Sega quickly announced a sequel.
We will thus find there Sonic, but also Tails, Knuckles voiced by Idris Elba, and the return of Jim carrey in the role of Jim Carrey who plays Dr Robotnik. We also find the three main protagonists in this first official poster of the film broadcast by Paramount.
The trailer will arrive in World Premiere at the Game Awards which begin this night at 1:30 in the morning. The video will be broadcast around 2 a.m. Expected release April 6, 2022 in France
