Sony may well formalize its in-house Game Pass, Project Spartacus, in just a few days.
Already peddler of previous rumors on the subject, Bloomberg reaffirms that Sony’s PlayStation Game Pass should be unveiled by next weekwhich would fit with everything that has been reported on the web in recent months.
Sony reportedly ready to take Xbox Game Pass head-to-head
According to informants close to the project, sources of Bloomberg, Sony would have made enough progress in its Project Spartacus and would be preparing to present it to the general public. Despite this revelation, Jason Schreier and others did not have any other crisp information.
We can therefore only cling to what we know so far. According to previous rumors, Spartacus would therefore be a direct response to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass, and the service would be divided into several subscription tiers in addition to merging PS Plus and PS Now.
What’s more, it would guarantee a large toy library spread over several generationsalthough it would not integrate no big games in day oneunlike Microsoft.
However, nothing is less certain and Sony could hide other assets in its sleeve. More than to wait the official revelation potentially stalled within a week.
