The latest THQ Nordic showcase was the opportunity for SpongeBob’s new video game adventure to be revealed more.
Unlike the first trailer of the game, this new one focuses on the story and especially the gameplay of The Cosmic Shake. On the program, some inter-dimensional travels, zany characters and of course, karate.
SpongeBob: it’s about time
SpongeBob and his best friend Patrick find themselves in a funny situation once again. For good reason, a crack in the reality appeared, which opened portals towards other worlds. Bob has to solve the problem and to do so, he will have to deal with the prehistory, to the era of piracy or to the medieval. As much to say that it is not going to be an easy task, but his faithful sidekick is there to support him.
As for the gameplay, the heart of this new trailer, we have the right to platform 3D rather classic coupled with game mechanics that are not without reminding those of the opus Battle for Bikini Bottom. This is not surprising when you know that the developers of Cosmic Shake are also those of the remaster of the 2003 title. Currently, no release date has been given, but it should be revealed very soon. The game will be released on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.
