Star Devin Booker becomes the new face of NBA 2K23

In addition to Michael Jordan, another NBA star will headline the 2K23 edition scheduled for later this year on PC and consoles.

While the living legend Michael Jordan has been announced as the cover star of two special editions of NBA 2K23, he is the NBA All-Star player of the Phoenix Suns, Devin Bookerwho will be the cover athlete for the new 2K Sports title.

The new iteration of basketball simulations has acquired the services of The three-time NBA All-Star and selected in the All-NBA First Steam 2021-22. It will adorn the cover of this year’s cross-gen Standard Edition and Deluxe Digital Edition.

It’s a dream come true to see me on the cover of NBA 2K. I’ve been a huge NBA 2K fan since I was a kid, and it’s surreal to finally join the exclusive club of basketball greats featured on the game’s cover. I’m also honored to share this year’s covers with the iconic Michael Jordan, who changed the game for all the players who came after him, as well as two of the WNBA’s all-time GOATs, Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird, who continue to have a huge impact on the game.

This year, NBA 2K23 will be sold in four editionstwo of them with the illustrious Bulls number 23 on the cover:

  • The Standard Edition will be available for a suggested retail price of €59.99 on Nintendo Switch and PC; €69.99 on PS4 and Xbox One; and €79.99* on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. In addition, a special edition of the Standard Edition, recognizing the cross-cutting connection between music and basketball culture, is planned for later in the fall. More information will be shared in the coming months.
  • The Deluxe Digital Edition will be available at a suggested retail price of $84.99 and will allow players access to the Standard Edition on both generations of games in the same PlayStation and Xbox console families; as well as MyTEAM content including 10,000 MyTEAM points; 10 MyTEAM tokens; 23 MyTEAM Promo Packs; players featured on the covers: Devin Booker Sapphire, Michael Jordan Ruby; Free Agent Option Pack; Jordan Diamond Shoe (not sellable on the card market) and MyTEAM Coach Ruby Pack; as well as content for My CAREER mode including 10x 6 types of boots for My CAREER skills; 10x 3 types of Gatorade boots; 2 hours Double XP; 4x My CAREER t-shirts; Backpack; Custom Skateboard and Sleeves;
  • The Michael Jordan Edition will be available for a suggested retail price of €99.99 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. This version will include 100,000 VC (Virtual Currency) in addition to the MyTEAM and My CAREER content included in the Deluxe Digital Edition.
  • The brand new Championship Edition will be available for a suggested retail price of $149.99 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and will feature a 12-month NBA League Pass subscription; 10% Boost XP for MyTEAM Season progression; 10% Boost XP for My CAREER Season progression; and an exclusive Michael Jordan-themed Go-Kart available at launch, in addition to the 100,000 Virtual Currency and MyTEAM and My CAREER content included in the Michael Jordan Edition. This edition will have limited availability and the digital version will only be available for pre-order. Physical versions will be available in select countries and retailers while supplies last.
  • Dual-gen access is included in the Deluxe Digital Edition, Michael Jordan Edition and Championship Edition on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and features a version of the game for each console generation within the same console family.

The game will be released on September 9th upcoming on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
