SEGA’s cult beat’em all will also be heading to the cinema. The film adaptation is currently in the works.
Streets of Rage, the cult SEGA series which recently received a final episode developed by Dotemu (Streets of Rage 4), will transpose its universe to the cinema like other video games, such as Minecraft in particular, for which information concerning its casting has just been published.
The scenario will be supported by the author who worked in the creation of John Wick and Nobody also: Derek Kolstad. As for the production, it will be returned to the company Escape Artists – having officiated in another action film (Equilizer) – as well as dj2 Entertainmentknown for adapting Sonic The Hedgehog. The latter company will also be at work on the cinema version of It Take Two, which was announced just recently.
