This is the end of the Microsoft exclusivity for The Ascent which now opens to Sony consoles and marks the blow with a nice collector’s item.
Dual stick shooter that caused a stir when it was presented during the Xbox show in 2020The Ascent had even served as a graphic showcase for the Xbox Series X. It must be said at the same time that visually the software sends wood.
As the hallway noises foretold, The Ascent now intends to impress at Playsation and even has a few surprises in store for the occasion.
Physical versions, collector … The Ascent is going all out for its release on PS5 and PS4
From May 26, 2022, The Ascent will be released on PS5 and PS4 in dematerialized, but will also have the right to physical versions. These will also be available on Xbox Seres and Xbox One on the same date.
Bonus, the software has prepared a collector’s edition, the “Cyber Edition”, for all platforms. The latter will notably contain the game, a steelbook, an 88-page artbook and additional content which is currently being kept secret.
Pre-orders are not available and the studio invites us to wait until the end of March 2022 to have news. On this date, we will certainly be given the price as well as a preview of this famous “additional content” still undisclosed.
