On the occasion of the end of the year, we looked at the worst and best marks awarded by the editorial staff of “VGR” in 2021. With a 20/20 for an indie game recently arrived on consoles!

VGR has published more than 170 tests in 2021, and many are still in the pipeline for the very near future. Like Metacritic, we wanted to come back to the worst and the best grades that the editorial staff awarded this year in our columns. We obviously start with the top flops of the year, just to end on a positive note:

  1. Emergency Call 112 – The Fire Fighting Simulation 2 (5/20)
  2. Werewolf: The Apocalypse Earthblood (6/20)
  3. Open Country (8/20)
  4. Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection (8/20)
  5. Aragami 2 (9/20)
  6. The Suicide of Rachel Foster (9/20)

Since we have given a large number of 10/20 this year (INDUSTRIA, Button City, Super Seducer 3 …), it was complicated to make a top 10, so we will stick to this top 6 of games that failed to pass the average. Repetition requested.
