A series of information and selection meetings

They will include a presentation of the croupier’s job, the training and the establishment as well as a test of mental calculation, memory and logic. Of course, a more traditional motivation interview is also planned.
These different information and selection meetings will allow us to retain certain candidates who will then have the opportunity to take part in a 100% practical training delivered by the Cerus Casino Academy between Tuesday, September 20 and Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
During this training, different courses will allow to learn all the technical gestures but also the rules of the different games and the commercial attitude to adopt with the customers.
The prerequisites for this recruitment phase
To attend this series of information and selection meetings at the Casino Barrière de Toulouse, it is not necessary to have any particular diploma or special experience as a croupier. However, there are certain prerequisites that must be met. As the law stipulates, you must be at least 18 years old and have a clean criminal record. You must also be a citizen of the European Union and registered to vote. The school is looking for candidates with a good level of simple mental calculation, memory and logic. Of course, you must also be agile with your 10 fingers and have a sense of customer relations.
If you have all these requirements, you can apply to become a croupier. It’s an exciting profession that consists of running games at traditional tables dedicated to the great classics of the casino such as roulette, blackjack and baccarat among others.
The croupier is in charge of drawing the cards from the shoe to distribute them on the table or to throw the ivory ball in the cylinder of the roulette for example. He is also responsible for collecting the chips from losing bets and paying out winning bets.
