The second year of the contract killer begins soon with technical improvements, an arrival in VR on PC and a bundle grouping together the three episodes of the trilogy.
the January 20, 2022, i.e. in one week, will begin theYear 2 of World of Assassination. This new year of Hitman 3 will begin first with a new game mode entitled Elusive Target Arcade.
As in the original version of Elusive Target, you will only have only one chance to hit your target, except that there you will have some several to shoot down one after the other, with each time a little more complications.
In case of failure, however, all will not be lost, it will suffice towait 12 hours to try your luck again. Every challenge will indeed be permanently available once integrated into the game and you can start it whenever you want with the key to exclusive rewards to collect that can be used throughout the game.
Always from January 20, all the trilogy from IO Interactive will finally be playable in VR on PC, and the title will also join Steam for the occasion. Like Playstation players before them, PC players will therefore be able to understand World of Assassination froma whole new way even more immersive to the first person.
From Glacier engine technical improvements will also be provided during the year and all IOI games will be able to enjoy it: RTX, XeSS Technology and variable rate shading for better rendering and performance.
A new package grouping together the 3 opuses of Agent 47 and entitled Hitman Trilogy will also be available from January 20 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, but also on the Xbox Game Pass (console and PC).
At spring, it will be another new game mode which will be offered to us: Freelancer. Taking inspiration from the rogue-like, it will inject a role-playing dimension to make you think you’re even more like the bald killer. You can in fact survey and customize your hideout whatever you want preparing for future missions in which you will decide to embark on all over the world.
In the field, merchants will allow you to increase your arsenal, but beware, anything you consume, misplace or forget on the spot will be permanently lost, just as if you die. So it’s up to you to manage your possessions well and know how to keep them.
Finally, a new destination under the code name of rocky expected for the end of the year has been teased without us knowing much more for the moment. To be continued, then.
