The video game based on the light novel Overlord will be released in June and will precede the airing of the new season of the anime adaptation.
The light novel Overlordwhich currently benefits from a French publication at Ofelbe, was discovered by the general public through its animated adaptation. Three seasons have already appeared and a fourth will arrive in the summer season. Moreover, to accompany this arrival scheduled for July, a video game will be released on Switch and computer (through Steam). It is intended to be intended for a wide audience, and not specifically dedicated to fans.
It will be a 2D game, a Metroidvaniawhich will feature the character of Clementine. The latter will then benefit from a completely new scenario supervised by the author of the original series, namely Kugane Maruyama. Overlord: Escape from Nazarick will be released on next June 16.
At Japanexclusively, the title will be entitled to physical editions (standard and limited).
