Launched in 2010, this League of Legends contender had good critical feedback but not enough players. His studio therefore decided to cut the servers on June 20.

The competition with League of Legends and Dota 2 was too strong. Twelve years after its launch, the MOBA Heroes of Newerth announces the shutdown of its servers and its shutdown. The game, which had a solid player base and very good reviews, was not making any money. The studio therefore decided to stop the charges.

It must be said that in 2015 already, the developer S2 Games had sold its title to Garena, then it had passed into the hands of Frostburn Studios, a new internal studio. The latter announced at the end of 2021 that the number of players was not sufficient to guarantee the gaming experience any longer. From then on, ingame transactions had been cut, as had the creation of new accounts.. The official networks had then announced the killing to come.
