Supermassive’s next big title is coming soon, and makes it known on video, but it will be without multiplayer first.
Spiritual sequel to Until Dawn, The Quarry is coming to us on June 10 on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. We will embody several teenagers who find themselves stuck in a real nightmare and whose lives depend only on our choices.

As for Until Dawn, Supermassive surrounds itself here with a 5-star cast including David Arquette (Scream), Ariel Winter (Modern Family), Brenda Song (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), Evan Evagora (Nightmare Island), Grace Zabriskie (Chucky 2), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), Skyler Gisondo(Santa Clarita Diet), Ethan Suplee (American Story X), Lance Henriksen (Alien), Lin Shaye (Insidious) or Ted Raimi (Evil Dead 2.3).
The studio tells us a story with many, many branches and over a hundred different endings. In addition to the main plot, The Quarry will also offer the possibility for players to enjoy the game in movie mode and even of take the place of the director, choosing for example the temperament of the different protagonists, as if you were directing the actors. It will also be possible to play local or online cooperation.
Besides, bad news for those who want to play the game with friends from day one, multiplayer is pushed back to a later update and will be released on July 8, 2022. Supermassive made its mea-culpa on Twitter and explains the delay by a desire to offer a perfect experience.
