Less than a month after its official announcement, The Quarry shows up during a long gameplay sequence that sets the mood.

Sort of spiritual sequel to Until Dawn, The Quarry is expected for June 10 on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Supermassive is taking advantage of the few months it has left to refine its baby and today reveals some gameplay shared by our colleagues at IGN.

Like a smell of teen movie gore

A group of teenagers lost in the middle of nowhere, locals who all have a face of serial killer, it was enough to The Quarry to surf on the horrifying atmosphere of the teen movies that abounded in the 80s and 90s.

As with Until Dawn, it will be up to us, players, to save all this little world during a long bloody road trip.

With almost 30 minutes of gameplay where you can see Skyler Gisondo, siobhan williams and Ted Raimi. We therefore have the opportunity to see that the atmosphere looks rather convincing where the facial animations seem a bit too much to force the line, even if we will refrain from issuing any final judgment without having had the game in our hands.
