The universe represented will be well known to fans of the series. However, the story will differ. In addition, as announced, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin should offer some freedom to players by offering them to roam as they wish in an open world. A world in which a new character will rub shoulders with well-known faces, from both Seven Deadly Sins and its sequel, Four Knights of the Apocalypse.
The title will be released on mobile, but, unlike its predecessor – also published by Netmarble – (Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross), it is also planned for release on PC and consoles. The names of the machines that will receive it, however, remain to be defined.
