Then scheduled to arrive this July 12th on Xbox Series and PS5, Hellpoint will not be released on Microsoft’s latest. Well, it’s just a matter of a few days.

First released in 2020 on PS4, Xbox One and PCthe action RPG from Cradle Games then joined the Switch and Stadia the year after. And now, it is the new gen consoles that are concerned by its arrival. But yes, this July 12, 2022the last born from Sony can already present it, it is different for the Xbox Series X/S.

A small delay of one or two weeks

On the Microsoft machine, Hellpoint won’t arrive until a week or two after the PS5 launch. A difference in the availability that is due, as indicated by the development studio in a statement, to “technical specifications” of the console.

However, the Blue Sun DLC (which came on that same date) will also be available to Xbox Series owners. But, for the moment, the game being compatible with the Smart Delivery function (that is, the Xbox One copy including the update to the new gen hardware), players only have to make do with the Xbox One version before being able to browse the optimized.

Greetings, Hellspawns.

The Xbox Series version of Hellpoint was supposed to ship tomorrow, July 12. This version of the base game will be slightly delayed due to the technical specifications of the platform. Currently, we expect to release it within one to two weeks. Stay tuned for announcements.
This delay will not impact the launch of the “Blue Sun” downloadable content. If you own an Xbox Series, you’ll be able to play the downloadable content tomorrow, as planned, using backwards compatibility and the Microsoft Smart Delivery feature. Also, Hellpoint game saves on Xbox One will be compatible with the Xbox Series.

This was obviously a difficult decision for us here at Cradle Games and for our publishing partners, tinyBuild. We apologize for the delay and hope for your understanding. As always, let us express our endless gratitude for your support and love. We have the best community we could have ever asked for.
Move forward with courage.
