Valve’s platform files have been updated, revealing the introduction of Ubisoft Connect to Steam.
After having shunned the platform of Valve to keep the premiere of certain games on Ubisoft Connect (yet another launcher on PC) or the Epic Games Store, the French publisher could prepare new for Steam.
A new app has been introduced in the Steam files database, can we read in the SteamDB catalog, which would therefore support the interaction between Ubi’s launcher and the store (and to have its overlay in play) and the arrival of new games.

An arrival that is reminiscent of EA’s backtracking last year. The publisher had broken the exclusivity of its Origin / EA Play store in order to offer its games for access and for sale on Steam.
However, most of the Ubi catalog is already at Steam, this novelty would be especially of the technical order, in order to connect the studio client to the online store. Logically, why deprive yourself of the platform favored by PC players?
As a reminder, last July, Ubisoft announced that a return to Valve was strongly considered. if the Steam Deck was a success.
