Ubisoft (finally) gives a date for the reboot of The Settlers

Ubisoft, which had not given any news of its cult city builder, The Settlers, since the summer of 2020, has finally announced a release date: March 17, 2022.

Announced during the Gamescom 2018, the strategy gameUbisoft Dusseldorf it’s done very discreet in recent years. Expected for 2020, it will finally be postponed to a later date, without further details.

The difficulties seem to be a thing of the past since a release date has just been revealed by Ubisoft: the wait will end on March 17, 2022. It can already be pre-ordered on Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store. Players will also be able to participate in the next closed beta which will run from January 20 to 24 on PC.

The game is supposed to offer a new look at the famous license The Settlers. The gameplay has been modernized, as have the graphics, the objective for Ubisoft being from become a visual reference in the genre of strategy and management games.
