After the very good Vermintide, Fatshark is now tackling the lore of Warhammer 40K, its Space Marines and Chaos critters.

Just like Vermintide, Warhammer 40k: Darktide is a naughty and cooperative FPS (up to 4 players) to the tunes of Left 4 Dead. The objective here will be to cross different levels by making your way through hordes of Chaos critters.

In contrast, Darktide will allow us to create an avatar from scratch and customize it as we wish. It will also be possible to choose your own equipment by first determining the class you wish to embody, such as the PsykerI’orgynthe fanatic or the Veteran of the imperial army.

In addition, Darktide will integrate roguelite mechanics and will offer, for example, mutators that will influence the progress of missions by adding bonuses/maluses to the game.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide is expected on Xbox Series and PC from September 13 if all goes well.
