Microids announces the release of a new edition of the TV show adaptation, with 3,000 new questions and a 100-player Battle Royale mode.
The early 2000s TV star game is back in video games, Microids announces. The show adaptation returns with a “New Edition” format on PS5 and produced by Sony Pictures Television. For the 20th anniversary of the first edition, this new title offers additional content:
- Over 3000 new questions, for a total of 8000 questions available!
- New thematic question packs to test your knowledge of the Olympic Games or even Justice League!
- An option allowing you to play without a stopwatch to take the time to decide what will be your last word …
- A new “fast” game mode that focuses on questions and answers, for players in a hurry who want to reach the million as fast as possible!
- Reworked animations and graphics, for an ever more realistic gaming experience!
The game will arrive also on PS4, PC, Switch, Xbox One and Series from early 2022 and will continue to feed throughout the year with new thematic question packs (the price has not been revealed).
While Microsoft is looking to revive its 1 Against 100, Sony has a strong competitor here since among the game modes, we will find a 4-player co-op, a 10-player online mode or a 100-player “Battle Royale” online.
Too bad JP is no longer there …
