Sega’s cult series, Wonder Boy, is back. All four episodes will soon return in a collection for Switch and Nintendo consoles.
First published in the 80 years, wonder boy had continued on its merry way until the following decade with several sequels. Then, after a few decades of silence, the Sega series reappeared through remakes, including Wonder Boy The Dragon’s Trap. Moreover, the second opus could also be approached via the Megadrive Mini.
Now, the saga is about to make its return in a collection aimed at PS4 and nintendo-switch. Thus, these will be the four opuses released between 1986 and 1994 which will be available to players, nostalgic or not. However, the announcement made by ININ Games and the developer Bliss Brain did not reveal the game’s release date.
Wonder Boy Collection will include:
- Wonderboy (1986)
- Wonder Boy in Monster Land (1987)
- Wonder Boy in Monster World (1991)
- Monster World IV (1994)
